We enjoyed coming here for a family lunch. The service was excellent throughout and the menu was comprehensive. We all had three courses and enjoyed each one, especially the crumble and custard. We will be back.

We came early afternoon expecting pub food, and oh boy, we were nicely surprised. Superb food, lovely atmosphere, kind and attentive service.... And they serve 'woof IPA' 0.0% ?Parking: Plenty of space

Have been a few times and it was always good. Went for a family birthday meal and it was very disappointing. The table was in the bar near a door to outside that was constantly opened by staff making us cold.Service was terrible, one starter didn’t arrive and when it eventually came everyone had finished theirs. The main course arrived immediately after the missing starter was finished. Roast potatoes were not good at all, tasted as if they had been cooked a long time before we ate. Cauliflower cheese was very over cooked and our request for extra veg and gravy took until we had nearly finished the mains.Dessert arrived and all of the sticky toffee puddings were barely warm. 3 of us sent them back as the other 2 held out no hope of them coming back in a timely manner. When they returned, part of the dessert was missing and the sauce tasted burnt.Overall it was a really disappointing meal with very disinterested staff.

Good food, friendly staff. The dahl needs some rice or naan with it though, strange that it was served without.

Fabulous Countryside Pub situated in the heart of Thulston Village, and our group was superbly looked after by our host Daniel and all his staff, who took care of all the requirements requsted, and with excellence, professionalism, along with courtesy and a smile as well.A fabulous selection of quality beers, soft drinks, tea, and coffee served at the bar...?Parking: Large car parking space to the rear of the pub, off Brooks Road.
