l had calamari and a prawn linguini. Really enjoyed the calamari, the prawn linguini was good for a restaurant chain. The servers were cheerful and service was good, food took some time to arrive but it was christmas and we were a very large group. Nothing much to complain about, would visit again.

Worst service I’ve ever had, staff members just did not want to do their job sat there for 25 minutes without being offered a drink then got told it was a 50 minute wait for food after sat down. staff just looked at you like you was dirt do not recommend at all.

I had a terrible experience here, two of my party were given the wrong food and when I complained (I was given non-vegan and I am vegan) the waitress was extremely rude to me, basically saying it’s my fault for being vegan. After this the rest of the staff were rude to me for the rest of the evening, it really ruined the night and two of my colleagues (it was our work xmas meal) complained to the staff about how they were being and asked them to apologise and no one did. The service was appalling and the food was nothing to get excited about. I wouldn’t bother going here when there are loads of nice restaurants nearby

We booked a table at Zizzi's for 6.30 pm, and despite a prompt seating, our overall experience was far from satisfactory. The absence of cider led us to try cocktails, served by a delightful female waitress. However, our enthusiasm dwindled during the excessively long waits for both starters (40 minutes) and mains (an additional 45 minutes). To exacerbate matters, only 2/3 sides arrived with our mains, and the revelation that the remaining side needed additional cooking due to a misread order was disheartening. The delivery of our mains lacked the expected apology, despite the nearly 90-minute wait from our arrival. Our disappointment was further magnified as neighboring tables voiced similar complaints. The restaurant continued to admit walk-ins, contradicting earlier claims of staff shortages due to Storm Pia. The culmination of these issues cast a shadow over what should have been a joyous Christmas gathering. In recognition of the inconvenience, the waitress handling our payment graciously deducted £30 from the bill (£10 each). While appreciated, it couldn't fully compensate for the overall experience. Unfortunately, our Christmas celebration at Zizzi's did not meet our expectations.

Completely overpriced bland food , a bowl of salmon pasta £16 small portion tasted of just plain pasta with salmon put in. Cocktails were nice not for £9 though .The prices charged are actually quite shocking for what we received.service also absolutely shocking .not one smile of any staff , no customer service .This is 2ce I have ate here the first time was with my 2 year old I don’t no why I stopped of here for a £40 snack ,the staff were again awful when my toddler was having a tantrum they was stood over me with the card machine whilst trying to calm my daughter down. The chairs are also so wobble not a comfy setting

Went to the restaurant with my wife today for lunch.We were met by a very helpful member of staff who took us straight to our table. She made us feel very welcome and took our order for drinks.Our drinks were served to us very quickly and she took our order for food.The food was excellent, it was tasty well presented .I cannot fault any aspect of our visit today.The staff were amazing the food excellent.Thank you so much

Incredible food, the staff is friendly and help accommodate for special events such as birthdays etc. The atmosphere is excellent with great decorations and music.

The service was excellent. It took a little longer than I'd expected for food to arrive, but they were very busy.I visited with my young niece. When we went in, we were asked about allergies. Even though the allergy my niece has is unusual and wouldn't be in anything we were having, the staff serving us were made aware.As we were there on a Saturday lunch time, it was busy. There was one table available. Apart from being a little cold inside, it was comfortable.The food was nice, although expensive. You do get filling portions. There are various options for pizzas, pasta dishes, and extras.Accessibility - it is inside Derbion and is accessible by stairs, lift, escalator. Once on the floor, it is level access. Some of the tables are quite close together.There is an accessible toilet at the back of the restaurant, and the other toilets are up a flight of stairs.

Fabulous attentive service, good food. My family and I had our Christmas lunch here. The food was excellent, a mix of garlic bread, Speidini (chicken on a skewer) with a honey and a creamy garlic dip was delicious, the chicken mouth melting. The Venison Stifado was a popular choice and very much enjoyed. Seabass another meal that was very tasty and with roast potato and fresh salad was another hit, check out the pizza, in particular the Calzone carne piccante went down really well, full of flavour and spice eaten with gusto and not a crumb left. I could go on, amazing food, great service and a nice ambience.

Both the pasta and Risotto were overcooked, the sauces were bland and tasteless, overall a very poor dining experience, I will never eat here again.Sorry to say, this Italian food at its very worst!!

I have been here 5 times in the last 4 months, I love zizzis in Sheffield, Nottingham etc decided to start trying the one in derby due to my boyfriend starting uni in derby, this is the worst restaurant I have been to in terms of service, each time we have had the same waitress who I presume is the manager, always scowling each time been rude to us when we come in or are ordering due to having allergies. Yesterday we came and they said they were full after ages of me and my boyfriend waiting for someone to come over, that’s when we looked at eachother in disbelief at the sight of the restaurant only having a third of the tables in use, will not be coming back 5th time of terrible staff!

If I could rate it 0 I wouldWorst meal I’ve actually had in ever I think. Service was piss poor. Came in for date night with my missus and the staff didn’t even want to be there themselves. Our waitress seemed angry and then the food came….. majorly late. Food sat at the pass for 10 mins before any of them could be bothered to get it and bring it overCarbonara - cold and gloopy. DISGUSTING!Honestly worst experience ever !Went to pay and they had set the card machine up so I had to tip! What a joke.
