We were a party of 10 on Mother’s Day later in the afternoon. We had pre-ordered our food to ensure what we wanted was available.Everything was delicious. The starters, mains and desserts. All piping hot and fresh. Plenty of well cooked potatoes and veg. Lots of lovely gravy including a scrumptious mushroom sauce for the vegetarian option (a very nice mushroom wellington). The restaurant was packed, but this had no negative effect on the quality of the food, service or wait time. My whole family were very happy. Recommended!Parking: Parking behind the pub. Good sized car park.

Usually good experience. But to be told after having a meal. 9.30 were last orders on a Saturday night. Staff were cleaning up around us. We left soon after and no one was around. Felt like we were being rushed to leave.

Review based on a group of 20 having an early Sunday Xmas lunch.Normally you see plates of gorgeous food with no idea of how appetising it is, what better to see what was left of a turkey lunch with all the trimmings, that's right two Brussel sprouts, and they were the only disappointment, hard as bullets. The desert, bread and butter pudding was unconventionally presented but tasted superb, only let down by the canned custard.Overall good food in pleasant surrounding with good service.Parking: Around the back of the bistro.Wheelchair accessibility: Some areas accessible from the street (front), but none from rear save for beer garden.
