Staff were lovely but, i visited because i was offered the free birthday meal. Only to find out the till had taken off a 3 year olds kids meal. Even though i asked if this would happen and was told it wouldnt. It would just take the cheapest meal off of the adults. The staff rectified it the best they could but it was very confusing for us and the staff as it couldnt be worked out correctly. In the end we gave up and paid. I dont like complaining at all but this offer needs sorting out for other customers in the future. It was awkward for us and awkward for the staff trying their best for us.

Came to Sheffield visiting my mum, had a walk and found this pub!!! Had food and a couple of drinks !!The girls working on the bar was so friendly and very welcoming, Lisa and Abi xLeft the pub to realise I’d lost my purse, my partner rung the pub and someone had handed it in, but the girls knew who we were when we went back for it!!! Thank you so much xx

Popped into The Mossbrook on Sunday and to say everything about our visit was brilliant would be an understatement. Main man Matt is just en point with every single detail, nothing is to much trouble. The service, the drinks, the ambience was just bang on. Big thanks too to the chefs on the day Geraint and Joe who went above and beyond regarding our food, many thanks fella's. Just simply 10 outta 10. Can't wait to visit again.

Tonight, we dined from the Valentine's menu and were not disappointed! ❤️We had the camembert starter, chateaubriand for 2, and finished with the trio of desserts.We upgraded to the extra special menu and to drink, we shared a bottle of Moet champagne and two cocktails - a blood orange collins and Cuban maitai.The bill came to £128 - excellent value considering the bottle alone sits at around £50 and that we had two cocktails not included in the deal.We are returning customers to the Mossbrook - enjoying each visit we have. The food has always been delicious, staff attentive and atmosphere pleasant.It is our go to for a special evening out.We highly recommend the chateaubriand and will be returning again soon.

Lovely birthday experience. Lisa and Abi made us feel really at home , and we received a lovely birthday surprise dessert. Fish cakes were delicious. Very good spiced carrot soup.
