Lovely place to visit and the cafè is brilliant with gluten free options for cake too! It’s a relaxing atmosphere, and you can sit outside for a drink and food too, with dogs welcome, in the outside area of the courtyard too. The Butcher’s Shop is well stocked and there’s the free little museum too… and much more!
Had the afternoon tea on Saturday 3rd Dec. It was very nice although expensive at £19.99 a head. Our teas and coffees weren't that hot, but after we mentioned it our refills were hotter. As it was a Christmas get together with friends we all felt it wasn't all that Christmassy. We had a cracker each a red napkin & that was it. Some Christmas music in the background would have been nice. It was ok but have had better afternoon teas and paid less.
Lovely place to get a nice wholesome meal and wine from their very own Vineyards. There maybe a little wait because of how popular it is but you can visit the Butchers also in the courtyard and pick up some very high quality meats.
