Over all the pub was average apart from the lack of shelter from rain in the beer garden which was very inconvenient. I was greatly upset by the absolutely terrible service that I received at this pub as I was met with nothing but attitude and rudeness when being served. The bar tender would be snappy and on one accession of her rudeness she was shouting at some of my friends - who had just arrived - that if they weren’t going to buy a drink they need to leave, even though they were just setting up the pool table. She ruined this pub for me and I will not be returning. Very friendly to all the locals though and served them very quickly, just not us.Kid-friendliness: Bar tender shouted at kids for running around and playing when there was a very large space for them to play and they weren’t disturbing or getting in the way of anyone.

Would not recommend. The older woman behind the bar was horrible when I ordered a drink she slammed it down on the table and said “You want ice or what” she seemed to be very friendly with the locals though but very rude to everyone else.

Lively most of the time but nice when quiet too anybody welcome anytime at this local pub. Don't expect food but expect a traditional warm welcome.

Doesn't look big from the outside but it's quite deceiving. There are a number of niche areas for socializing and a good size outside area too. Staff are very accommodating and have put on a few events for charities.
