Best Sunday carvery in the area. I go every week I can go. My missis is a bit new age and lost the art of cooking along the way so it's my stable meal of the week. Amazing! Oh yes as rarity they do lamb too on the meat carving station!

Visited here with family after reading great reviews, unfortunately we were a little disappointed. On arrival, the restaurant was cold and poorly lit, with numerous bulbs appearing to not work. The service was average, as was the food. There was enough choice but the vegetarian option was dry and unappetising and the roast potatoes were soggy. The rest was OK I guess, but I wouldn't say I enjoyed it.I dont think id go again when we have many more choices round about.

Best carvery I've had for a number of years. Very nice venue and staff were great, very attentive and kept the drink flowing and the food came out quick. Had to tick what we wanted from a list but the servings were plentiful. I'll be back again soon over the coming weeks. Great value for money.

We were part of a large group from our local bowls club that had booked for a pre-Xmas lunch. A two course meal (starter and main) with the option of a dessert at additional cost. The main course was a buffet carvery with four different meat selections - turkey, beef, pork and lamb, (you could select any two from the four) - plus a good selection of vegetables. The carvery chef was generous with portions and the quality was excellent. All in all, a very good meal and thoroughly recommended.

It has been quite a few years since we had been to the golf club. The new owner of the restaurant has done a wonderful job in turning this place into the place to eat locally if you want a delicious Sunday carvery. The decor is lovely. The food was spot on from the meat to the mash. The staff were all lovely and polite and friendly. Keep up the good work.

24 for Sunday carvery for a birthday celebration which I must say was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was to much trouble, one of the best carverys we have had in a long time.
