“Lovely staff in the matlock shop, always very welcoming and friendly. Bought 12 mince pies as lovely as ever, but, the pork pie I bought was awful. It was fresh in on that day because I asked. The meat had no taste, the pastry was under cooked inside and the teeniest bit of jelly which I always think jelly gives it its flavour. My partner hasn't eaten any other pork pies for years because yours were so good but I've been told not to waste my money in future. I hope Birds aren't scrimping on quality like alot of other companies because we know what happens to them.”
