Traditional ale and food. Home made chips , cold ham and fresh farm eggs are a must!

We had not been to the Cliff Inn in a number of years I booked a table as we was staying in the village It was pizza night and they was delicious We ordered 2 pizza and chips the pizza was so big we asked if you could take some home with us. The lady was so helpful she wrapped them for us and put them in a bag We had a lovely chat with the landlord who told us about all the work he had done to the inn We have never felt so welcome and comfortable as we did at the Cliff We arrived as strangers but left as friends Nothing was to much the staff was amazing Thanks

A party of 5 booked for Sunday lunch at the Cliff Inn following a recommendation from our hosts @ Bilberry Barn. We had the most fantastic home cooked Sunday roast anyone can ask for- the cauliflower broccoli cheese was truly amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and the quantity was extravagent. Absolutely amazing thank you Tracey

What an experience. Food uneadible. Owners dog pooed in walkway. Not a place we would ever go again
Love this pub !! The landlord & landlady are so friendly, as are the staff , we were made to feel very welcome. Called today for a Sunday lunch & we weren’t disappointed . Fabulous roast beef from the local butcher with all the sides you can imagine & very plentiful . We regularly drink here but this was the first time we have eaten & we will definitely be back , would highly recommend.

Stopped off here for a drink on the way back down from Crich Stand. Quite a few people were having food, it looked amazing so I decided to have Steak and ale pie with chips. It was amazing with a very hearty portion. Will definitely be back!

What a cracking pub. Great gaffer and really good bar staff. Very dog friendly. The beer was superb. Went on Friday and won a loaf of bread in the large raffle ! Busier on Friday than on the Saturday. A `proper` pub. Highly recommended. When I`m back in the area I`ll be back.
