Coffee Shops in Matlock

“My favourite bookshop in the world. Great selection of both new and second hand books, brilliant little vegetarian cafe and extremely pleasant and helpful staff all in an extremely charming setting. Some cramped aisles can make it tricky to manoeuvre but personally I think that adds to the charm. Make sure you earmark an entire morning or afternoon, or ideally full day to fully explore every nook and cranny.”

“Lovely cafe which serves breakfasts, lunches and cakes. They have a wood burner which makes it very cosy. The staff are very friendly and they have gluten free options on the menu including full English breakfast with gluten free sausage and homemade gluten free bread. No”

“Good tea room in the tram museum. Eat outside if you can and watch the trams rattle by. Salad was massive and the tea was nice. Plenty of room but it wasn't a busy day, so might get crowded in the summer, however lots of tables outside.”

“Visited mid morning in June on a Monday and it was fairly quiet. Only 1 person in queue so had a quick chat with "mature" lady behind counter. She was super friendly and very pleasant to talk to. Shared a joke and she really made the visit a positive experience. Toilets were clean too. Other Costas could learn a thing or two.”
