A lovely little country pub, atmosphere was very relaxed. Sunday lunch meat was cooked well and plenty of it good selection of vegetables but not as warm as we would have liked. No vegetarian alternative or reduction in price for vegetables only and as a vegetarian a small/child's size plate was given which was annoying. If the vegetarian was better it would have been 5 star for the value for moneyVegetarian options: See review no vegetarian alternative same price but smaller plate for vegetables only.

Excellent food and service.We had a Sunday carvery and the meat was fantastic. On a personal level I prefer no music while I'm eating.

we arrived 1.20pm on thursday, the place was almost empty. we ordered steak pies, three beans chilli and tempura king prawns. the pies were good . the tempura batter was not used for tempura king prawns but anyway the batter was crispy. the three beans chilli was rather in small portion.

A proper friendly pub, no rushing and pushing you to eat up and go, friendly relaxed atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: Great outdoor play area.Parking: Big car park, have to cross road. Parking at the front of the pub too..Wheelchair accessibility: Couldn't see level access but am sure there will be some.
