Good little bike stop on a Sunday morning or any day!

Considering the few options for vegan food in Matlock Bath, Tor Cafe is a shining, wholesome island in the storm!Great selection of items on the menu, lovely tea options and a cozy & comfortable atmosphere. Next trip to Matlock Bath will be a B-line for Tor Cafe for sure.Vegetarian options: Vegan options were bean chilli (jacket potato topping), full breakfast including vegan haggis!Dietary restrictions: Soy free options, various plant based milks

Two good hot chocolates, nice place. Thank you for coming up the road to return the scarf my Mum had left behind.
Deceptively small on the outside and easy to miss as it is well tucked away at a junction but once you enter the cafe ; it is a warm cosy space with a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu that is served by enthusiastic staff. A regular jaunt for cyclists, it can be very busy during most times ( including winter). The prices are reasonable and the quality of food is very good. Flexibility in options is commendable. The table next to the counter is best avoided as it gets noisy with customers chatting away over your head and collecting orders. Will definitely be back . 30m parking on Mill Road . Free WiFi is a bonus as mobile reception is poor.

I'd say the best place to go for breakfast, no frills, but the quality is good and portions generous.Nice staff and very accommodating. Very large menu considering the size of the place and very affordable too!
