Always great tasty curries and very friendly service. We do the set meal and it works out really good value for money. Highly recommend! Easy to park and book online too.

Waited 1.5 hrs for our main. When asked where it was, the waiter was very rude and obnoxious. We asked for more popidoms and were clearly told "NO" waiter assumed we were asking for free one but we were simply asking for more (paid) popidoms as we were hungry.Waitress was clearing plates before people had finished and when we pointed out certain people were still eating, she waited by their side until they had. First rule of waitressing is you never clear plates until everyone has finished. Its extremely rude!*No napkins on the table at all.*Never asked us how our food was.*Meat was very chewy and fatty.*Thick skin on all our curries, suggesting it had been sat there for some time.*Food was bland.*When we complained waiter again was very rude.*Overall very average!

When we got there it was only half fill but the seating lay out was lovely, looked really nice.We ordered Pompadums and pickles came out quickly but that is where it all went down hill.Some was still eating when taking plates away and we had no napkins on the table. Then over an hour for food to come but waiter was rude when we asked how long it would be. When food did come it one was over cooked, all curries had no flavour and bland. I send mine back it was that bad and came back out all they had done was add alot of hot powder or sauce. The waiter then stood they with a grin saying try it is that spicy for you. I can eat spicy his face dropped but it had no taste or flavour at all.When they came to clean up only 4 meals out of 8 had been eaten we said we wasn't happy at all. We got 1 meal curry free and they was so rude with it.We will not be going again

Myself and my son were recommended to try the Curry lounge for our takeaway on Wednesday evening as we were in the area.The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive.We chose our dishes ( I always have a K Prawn dish and my son a chicken dish) P rice, Keema Nan and Poppadoms. We really enjoyed our meal.The K Naan bread was the best we’ve ever had. ( A small meal itself) There were generous amounts of K prawns and delicious pieces of chicken.We always eat half and save half for the next day. There was plenty left for that.DeliciousI can see why they have won awards for their food.We shall return!Parking: Free Car park on its doorstep

We was recommend this restaurant by a friend. Was quite excited because the menu looked really good. We were served the pickle tray with a room temperature mint sauce and the pickle tray was a 0 out of 10. The waiter was very obnoxious. A coke was served completely flat and was given the excuse it was the glass that made it flat. The mushroom rice was vile, the pilau rice was OK. The shashlik and chicken tikka was below average. The salad was just out of a bag and just consisted of lettuce. The vindaloo I ordered was 100% the worst vindaloo I've ever seen for 1 and it was unediable. It had a thick skin on top of it obviously been sat there for a while. Definitely won't be going back. Service was poor.
I've only visited the curry lounge twice and both times we had good service and the food was very nice. It's nice for anyone celebrating something special as it can hold quite large groups of people, or if it's a last minute decision normally you can always get a table. Would definitely recommend.

Never had a curry before (not really a curry lover) but we were out as a family all of whom like curry so I tried to be brave and had a rangpur curry with some boiled rice and a garlic nann it was lovely!Nice big portions (too big for me for a first curry) but good sizes none the less, great service, friendly staff and nice clean restaurant. We will be visiting again in a few weeks for a friends birthday!
