Average experience really. Regretting agreeing to not looking elsewhere.Arrived and the table and floor were dirty. There was a long delay between starters and mains. They asked about turning the coffee machine off 2 hours before closing.Starts were on the small side and done poorly cooked.Main course featured chips of varying quality.Festive meal offered good value for money with some nice food. Most annoyingly I ordered a desert from the festive menu (which featured no individual prices) and was charged a price higher than any other desert without being told the price, which wasn’t presented anywhere on the menu. It’s an average restaurant of this type, but I would strongly consider alternatives before coming back here, even if the alternative is better just by cleaning the floor and table better.

The food is better than having a takeaway but doesn't cost anymore. Plus, if you have a blue light card they give you a discount as long as you don't have the Christmas menu. Been there five times and not had a problem each time except once when they're drinking. Machine broke but they gave me bottled instead.

Fabulous time here. Hidden gem. Stayed at the premier inn to break up journey and this was fantastic. Staff were spot on amazing with the littles travelling with us and went out of their way to get us settled in a place our eldest approved of (she’s 4). Brilliant!Parking: Need to log your registration in. But there’s lots of free parking across the roadKid-friendliness: Perfect with our littles. Went out of their way to make them feel included even though it was busy.

I had the Xmas turkey dinner was delicious and so much of it I couldn't eat it all, my granddaughter who is a teenager had the festive burger she loved it and said it's like a quarter pounder size overall for the price it's worth every penny.Staff are quick and very friendly and the place is very clean I would highly recommend this restaurant in Bideford

The food here was lovely, the portions were huge and the price was great. The pub was homily and very festive. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We hadn’t been before and we had the best time so thank you. Can’t wait to visit again!

Just had the festive menu here for 7 people (we prebooked the table). It was excellent value for money. The roast potatoes were delicious. Staff were busy and did take a bit longer than usual but they were friendly and polite even under pressure. We eat here occasionally for an easy lunch and have had good experiences each time. The only disappointment this year is they'd run out of the Trifle for dessert!Dietary restrictions: GF options not clear on the menu but vegan/vegetarian is clearly marked. They did give a separate GF menu reference. They also asked about food allergies at every stage.Parking: Easy free parking close to the restaurant.

Honestly no words we stayed for a week half term October -. We Was told to put pancakes in the toaster which caught fire when we all knowNot to put them in a toaster staff needs training on this. Dylan was an absolute ray of sunshine and was fantastic to my family but even all his hard work couldn’t fix our awful stay. The old man manager was rude and ignorant. Honestly recommend any one that is looking to stay here and use this restaurant to use it with caution.

We stayed at Premier Inn and had our breakfast booked here. The man at the front desk was rude. He was inconsiderate and not polite. Despite paying in advance for the breakfast we were accused of not reserving for a table. The tables were unoccupied and there were plenty of people just walking in and booking their breakfast. We were extremely unhappy and disappointed with the service. No complaints with the food though.

Restaurant Bideford. Two members of staff very unprofessional. Attended around 1. 1.30 pm Monday ,4th December. Welcome desk was rude in her manner. After deciding what we wanted went to bar to order. Another member of staff continued talking while we waited for around 5 mins. Annoyed we left. Returned at 3.10 pm. Very polite and professional staff. Had a meal. These two blonde members of staff should be sent on customer training. Rude dismissive and very unprofessional to customers. They work in a service Industry. So they did not do well. Later shift totally different.

Stayed at Premier Inn next door, breakfast was here. Very poor greeting at reception. Premier Inn did not book us a table for breakfast but there were clearly lots of free tables even though the guy wanted to make a thing out of how “busy” they were. Poor breakfast selection in the Continental selection. Poor staff on duty. Happy pills or training required. You might do better at Mc D next door ?

Never been to a Brewers Fayer before - greeted at the door and shown to our table. Wide variety of meals. Ordered, waited about 15 minutes. The food was very good and a generous portion - we had had a 2 for 1 deal two curries for £11'ish Unbelievable value. The restaurant was clean, warm and the staff friendly. we were very delighted
