Best little Cafe in town. Fantastic staff and owner with a wonderful array of tray bakes, cakes and lunchtime food.

Whilst the atmosphere in the cafe is nice, it took over half an hour for three meals to come out. When they did come out, one of the orders was incorrect and the other two were cold and not cooked properly.Unfortunately there was not a quick resolution to the issues as the staff didn't want to accept responsibility for bringing the wrong items.Nice coffee though.

Very disappointing visit. We sat and waited for 10 minutes, no one bothered to let us know you order at the till. Ordered 3 breakfasts, they took 30mins+ to arrive. One Meal was wrong, the server did not want to accept responsibility and tried to convince us this was what we ordered, it most certainly was not. Another server came out and agreed to make the correct meal. The other two meals were at best slightly warm.... The fried egg crispy underneath and undercooked on top. All in all, a very disappointing visit and we will definitely not be returning.

Having spotted thw cafe on previous visits my friend took me here due to my being known to say "cool beans" as an affirmation of good things, unfortunately we would be hard pressed to have many good things to say about our experience at Cool Beans Cafe. The tea and coffee was decent but the food was at best needing serious work.We ordered a baguette each, which were part bake ones from a shop, which wouldn't have been an issue if they were actually baked, I ordered a granary baguette but neither of the ghostly white, stodgy numbers we were both presented with were granary. We also ordered some falafel to share and were presented with rather concerning bright/deep green "balls" which had a every so slightly crispy exterior and playdough interior much like dired out playdough, whixh somehow managed to adhere to the teeth and with disturbingly strong aniseed flavour that lingered for the afternoon, served with "vegan" dips which judging by the explosive diarrhea were anything but.

First visit, not busy at all. Ignored at the counter whilst 3 staff members chatted. One girl eventually looked at me but continued chatting! My daughter waited to give the order (2 Cappuccinos & a strawberry iced crispy cake) whilst I sat down, irritated by their rudeness. The order was taken & would be delivered to our table. 12 mins later & still no order. There were only 2 other tables taken in the cafe so no excuses. I went back to the counter & was told ‘ they are on their way……..’ 15 mins later from sitting down, the order finally arrived. It’s saving Grace was that the coffee was really nice but alas, the crispy cake was rock hard & tasted stale. I won’t be returning.

The cakes were AMAZING, I bought extra to take home. Freshly made food. Good quality & great flavours. The tea was proper & made in a pot too.Staff were really friendly and the service was great.Vegetarian options: I had a mozzarella & pesto panini. It was really nice & fresh.

We came here today, and all I can say is I will not be going back to costa! The coffee was such a bargain and the selections of syrups was 10/10. Also got a twix blondie to take away and it was huge got £3.50 and so so so so so tasty!!

Really liked it here. Visited on two separate occasions and both times the hot drinks were really nice. Also enjoyed browsing the local crafts made by small businesses.

Really nice, only problem was a young woman complaining and threatening the business because she claims to be acutely lactose intolerant, making a big fuss and being petulant and unpleasant over it.Friends of mine have peanut allergies and do not behave in the manner of this young person.
