“Lovely place, staff were friendly with a sense of humor, service was pretty quick and the food was tasty and good portion sizes. Would have liked a bit of music in the background but that’s just me. Overall very happy and we will be back”

“We booked this fantastic place in Appledore for the last night of our stay and it's honestly the best food I've had for a long time.
The menu has a broad tapas based theme with local fish and meat supplies, the cocktails and drinks fab and the service was speedy which catered for our young ones too.
I can't recommend this placd enough, I think they change the menu regularly, but I had the mussels special in a peanut Thai sauce, they were fresh and the sauce was easily the best I'd tasted. I also ordered fish tacos which consisted of a few bites of delicious battered white fish with an avo slice and some salsa topping, they were a stunning mouthful.
I did go for a dessert too and chose the chocolate and hazelnut pot, which was heaven in each spoon and not too rich. Each dish was at the higher end price range but so worth splashing out on this gem of a Devon coast hideaway. I'll be thinking of an excuse to book again for our next holiday trip.”
