What a lovely pub. Visited it with family who live in the village. We ate in the restaurant inside. Food was fab. I had fish and chips and husband scampi. It was lovelyStaff were really nice. In the summer this would be fab as it has a lovely outdoor area too.Deserts were great.Loved the Dry rose wine too.

Went for a meal to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The staff were wonderful and even brought our daughter a candle in her dessert and sang happy birthday. It was a really lovely touch, thank you.

Lovely lunch out with the family. Staff were super friendly and great with the kids. I'm not a fan of eating a roast out but the carvery was really good. Only downside was the lack of parking.

We as a family had Sunday lunch 17th Feb, and I ordered the vegan option due to having a dairy intolerance. I was told the roast option was a nut roast, but when I collected my lunch the nut roast was a thin piece of rice that looked as if it had just been fried off and there was no sign of any nuts or any other vegetables in it. It was bland and tasteless. The gravy was just a gluppy blob that had no either they did me a few vegetables separately which were OK.I would not recommend the vegan option it definitely was not worth it.

We booked out the whole back room as a group of 28 after a lovely coastal walk from Westward Ho! and had an amazing roast! Such good value for money and really attentive staff, would definitely pop in again if nearby :-) Lots of different sitting areas and cozy spots for all times of the year.
Husband and myself called in for a carvery each. Omg what a carvery - the best we have had for ages. Huge Yorkies, tender meat and colourful selection of vegetables. Staff lovely and were very welcoming.We will be back when in the area again.
