Traditional pub, which has stood the test of time. A tight road to get there, but ample parking when you arrive. Advisable to book a table, as it gets busy, which is a good sign for me. We all enjoyed our meals, deserts were spot on too. Service was efficient and we’ll return.

Only called in for coffee. Made very welcome, as we're our two dogs. The menu looks mouthwatering. Will try it out one day soon.

There's lots of parking with super views! There is outside seating which must be delightful in better weather!Inside wonderful ales available as well as lagers, and an excellent choice of other beverages including non-alcoholic.The food is delicious. It's not fast food but when it arrives it's jolly delicious! The staff are very pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble.

Amazing experience, we attended late on Sunday afternoon with no booking. We were informed roast was sold out, incase that effected our want to eat there. We were served quickly and the staff were fantastic around gluten allergies. 100% recommend.

Excellent Sunday roast, great ambience. We chose the "small" plate, which came with a generous portion of beef, and plenty of veg. Delicious.

The most genuine welcome to come in and relax by the fire with a drink I have experienced. Even my dog relaxed so much he was dribbling! We stayed longer than planned and look forward to our next visit to try out the food!

My husband and I visited this pub Saturday evening, from the moment we walked in it felt welcoming and warm with many locals all having a nice drink and a chat. The staff were friendly and we had our table next to the log fire which was an added bonus for me!! We had the most amazing steak cooked to perfection, infact I go to say probably the best steak I've had, it was delicious. The dessert was very tasty too. We would definitely recommend this pub and will visit again with the rest of the family next time.
