We usually use Shahanaz in Ashburton which has always been excellent. I have sampled many Indian restaurants when I lived in the Midlands. Bombay Mix in comparison was really disappointing. The food was too sweet or too fat. The onion bhajees were dry. We will make sure not to use again.

We ordered our takeaway online in the afternoon for delivery at 6.30pm. The food was stunning. It arrived on time and delivered to the door by a friendly and professional delivery driver. We have had takeaways from the Bombay Mix several time previously and have never been disappointed. We’ll certainly look forward to our next one which will probably be our Xmas lunch (delivered the previous evening of course).

I had a chicken madras sag aloo and mushroom rice, All of it was piping hot when we arrived in Dartmouth and very tasty too. Definitely worth the trip and we will be back so soon. You know when chicken pieces are actually chicken and not the rubbery rubbish you get in other take aways. WELL DONE BOMBAY MIX THANKS

If I could give Bombay Mix zero stars I would. We ordered starters and main meals. Not sure what was what as the mains looked the same. None of the food looked remotely like any Indian cuisine we’ve eaten previously. It was actually inedible and found its way into the bin shortly after tasting. Very poor.

The service was very friendly, the food was ready quickly, but unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all. We ordered chicken tikka masala and and a lamb dish. The masala sauce was very strange. The lamb was cooked hard, not soft and the sauce and veggies were weird too. I would not recommend eating here. I'm sorry to say that because the people there were very nice

The lamb tikka dhansak meat was tough. Very poor quality and the lentils in the sauce were not apparent (mush). The lamb tikka masala was the worst curry I have ever had. The sauce was so sweet, full of colouring and the meat was also tough. Frankly inedible. So I am not prepared to score. We were hoping this would become our local as this came from a recommendation.
Probably the worst 'curry' ever ! I had the Bombay Lamb Saffron - tough overcooked lamb, at least I think it was lamb, in a funked up pasta sauce ! Other main was not good either don't get me started on the pizza ! Best bit was the rice ! I could think of better ways to waste £45 ! ?

After spending a lovely the day in Padstow, we returned to Brixham tired and hungry, the biggest bonus for us was, that it was Halal, the owner was so polite and helpful and made recommendations, the dishes were presented beautifully and the food didn’t disappoint! We loved everything, we had quite a few dishes and would highly recommend.

The labelling was atrocious we couldn't work out which dish was which. We ordered 7 dishes with different rice and naans and we can't be sure any one really got what they ordered. One dish was labeled as something resembling "C T/T Mas" we assumed it was the Chicken Tikka Masala but it was way too spicy. All the dishes we ordered were medium so we think the wrong dish was made here. Shame as the food was tasty.
