The service was brilliant from the moment we walked in. Had a window table overlooking the harbour. The hake and scallops meal I had was lovely. Did not need to season anything. The chef even took time out to ask us about our meal. This eatery comes highly recommended.

My husband and I visited Crusoes whilst on holiday. We had the chowder and scallops for our starters and hot rock rump and fillet steaks for our main. All our dishes were very tasty and well presented. The hot rocks were a novelty to us and a bit of fun and the steaks were of really good quality meat. Service was welcoming, friendly and attentive and the lovely view across Brixham harbour was an added bonus.

Very enjoyable dinner - we took advantage of the half price for second dish early dinner offer and had delicious food - chowder to start, prawn and crab pasta and hake +scallops as mains. Freshly prepared fish was a delight! Nice view of the harbour too.

Firstly, Julie is an absolute delight. Second, I might have to return to Brixham just for the mash potatoes. The chocolate pot. The steak was also seasoned beautifully, absolutely gorgeous. The view of the harbour was icing on the very delicious cake.

Embraced to to that this was our fist visit to Crusoes tonight, as locals, but wow just had to let everyone know what a fabulous meal great service and already booked for next week. Crab linguine was stunning and large portion, Hot rock fillet just delicious. Highly recommend ?

Couldn’t have asked for better, had the hot rock steak and fish with scallops and best meal we’ve had in Torbay. Will definitely be back again very, very soon. Crusoes is a firm favourite of ours, we regularly enjoy the view over the harbour with a nice bottle of wine and a beautiful, high quality fillet steak, cooked on hot rocks so that you can take your time and soak up the view. The home cut chips are so moreish. Gill the waitress and Gary the chef are so friendly and ensure you have a lovely evening without being in any way intrusive. Thoroughly recommend. We would try some of the lovely looking seafood on the menu but it’s difficult to not order a fillet steak when they are so good and great value.

Amazing!!! We wanted to experience fresh seafood whilst on holiday. There were four of us, 2 fish lovers, 1 non-fish lover and a vegetarian. The fish lovers were bowled over by the scallops, muscles and hake/cod. It was so fresh so the dish was substituted with whatever fish was caught that day. Our non-fish lover had the steak which was cooked perfectly on the volcanic plate and the veggie loved his halloumi skewer. The food was even served by the chef and was to die for. We loved every bite and the service was amazing. I’m on a low fodmap diet and because everything is cooked fresh, my difficulty with certain ingredients was no problem at all. THANK YOU!!jVegetarian options: Halloumi skewer a great option for veggies!
