Even Netflix ?5 min walk into Brixham.Host was lovely.Situated on the back of the pub, which we were concerned about, but never heard a peep. Even when there was live music on St Patrick's night.Highly recommend ?Ps the dog loved it too?

Been here a few times now, food is really good when you take into account it is a pub not a Michelin star gastro restaurant. But it is really good food, drinks and atmosphere.

First class. Amazing food, fabulous service and fantastic value. Have eaten here on many occasions, and as a picky eater, I am spoilt for choice. Huge portions of perfectly cooked food. Jay and Alex have it nailed. Don’t miss this perfect gem in Brixham. A brilliant menu with something for everyone. Huge portions. You will never leave hungry!

We enjoyed once again the excellent Sunday lunch. Jay’s Sunday lunches are just like your mum’s book book book or you will be disappointed. Highly recommend in a lovely traditional family run pub. Good selection of beers as well. Thank you ??????

Booked for a group from Brixham for our Christmas Meal . Wow the food portions were huge and very very tasty . Plenty of gravy and meat and so much on the plate that you had to peel off the vegetables and there was always some more awaiting underneath.!!Great roast pots .Good value and the staff were very accommodating and gave some of the party dishes to take home the items that were not eaten .??

Had a lovely Sunday lunch, amazing food, home made and tasty, and amazing portions. Recently we’ve been trying every Sunday roast in Brixham….and I have to say this beats the others by far!!!

We were recommended the pub from our b and b owners,and let's just say we were not disappointed! We ordered sausage and mash and the mega mixed grill,the portions were of mega size,and beautifully cooked,my husbands grill was overflowing and even he struggled to eat it!! But it was gorgeous! Sadly no room for a pudding!! The landlord and landlady were very welcoming, and we also had the privilege of a local cornish music group! Highly recommended and we will be back again!
