Just a great traditional pub. With staff that go the extra yard and very very affordable prices on good quality food and drinks. Loads of things going on weekly. Ideal place if on holiday.

Traditional local pub. We visit here when we visit our mom, on a Sunday.Great atmosphere, with friendly, helpful staff. We love the Sunday carvery and we are having our Christmas meal here.An enjoyable dinner out with family, without breaking the bank.

The worst Christmas meal I have ever had. Went with friends, first impressions not good but told the food was nice so thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt. Booked for 1pm, got there for 12:50 they was still setting up the tables ? we waited until after 2pm for starter pate 1 slice and half a slice of bread with lettuce thrown on, disgusting brought by men who looked liked they needed to wash. 1 hour later the carvery, man cutting meat was sweaty and wiped his face on a tee towel ?. 1 hour later the desert to be told what we had pre ordered wasn't available. Worst experience ever, never go in there again a waist of 80 pounds

Lunch was absolutely fab! Chicken and ham pie with chips and peas. Husband has scampi. Both were excellent quality. V friendly place and they welcome dogs. Perfect!

Absolutely amazing carvery, we went as a group of 8 and everyone was very impressed with the food. Dog friendly and the staff were great. Will definitely be returning again. A must visit if you’re going to Brixham.

We have been coming to Brixham as a family for about 18 years and this is the first time weve tried The Burton as its a little outside the main town area. We had the Sunday Carvary - it was amazing! I don't say this lightly, I am a bit of a food snob, I think Sunday lunch should have fresh veg and homemade yorkshire pudding and gravy, I couldn't fault it. The staff are warm and friendly, they made a fuss of the dogs and made sure that we had everything we needed. It's a little run down, but a good old fashioned pub with excellent value for money food and drink. We will definitely be coming back soon ?

Really enjoyable Carvery at The Burton, choice of meats and you can have a mix and match of everything. Piled the veg high and a Yorkshire pudding on top. All washed down with a pint of Tribute IPA. The most friendly staff of any pub, it's like coming home to family. Absolutely five stars and the best Roast dinner i've had for years.
