Great spot in the battlements on Berry Head. Very friendly and helpful staff, and great range of cakes and drinks. Short accessible walk from car park. We had a gluten free cream tea. Plenty of room and dog friendly too.Dietary restrictions: Understood Coeliac/gluten free requirements.Parking: It’s about 100m from the Berry Head car park.

Visited on the weekend 20 Jan. I think it very much a dog walkers stopping point! Lovely breakfast and mug of hot tea. Staff wonderfull and accommodating. Cold and windswept walk to lighthouse and forts. Well worth the walk. No parking. Car park chargeable and couple hundred yards away.Parking: None at the cafe. Car park couple hundred yards away. We often go to the Gusrdhouse cafe, it never disappoints. Whether we have a hot chocolate, a cream tea or a light lunch we always enjoy. The staff are friendly and efficient, will keep returning.

We came for Breakfast on saturday morning, we had a very warm welcome when entering the cafe, excellent choice on the menu, i chose the Bubble and Squeak on the special board, it was delicious, husband was very happy with his full english, nice that you use local products, including the tea bags. Excellent customer service skills. Thankyou to all staff, we will return.
