Lovely cafe, with excellent coffee.. The best I had on our little trip to Devon. Unlike seemingly so many seaside cafes which haven't changed since the 70s, this place is modern, sells nice food and to repeat myself, really good coffee!!Dog friendly, it was a bit busy but we found space and were served nice and quickly.

Just been for supper at Brooks kitchen and it was amazing food . I had belly pork and it was cooked to perfection. The staff are charming and helpful. One of our party had allergies and they were very helpful with that. It is also a lovely cafe in the daytime with great cakes. I can't wait to eat there again.

I run events for singles and finding a venue that can offer me excellent service, along with great food is very important to me. I spoke with Tyra about holding a drinks and canapes evening for a private function, and in December I held the event, and I was so impressed!! Tyra created an amazing atmosphere for the evening, with mulled wine, and a wonderful selection of beautifully crafted canapes, fleshly made by Luke. The service was excellent. My guests were very impressed. I would highly recommend booking up for a private event, or their tapas evenings! Thank you - Sarah from 'Zest Singles'

Jake and Tyra are a hardworking and creative young couple producing really high quality and imaginative food in an informal, service oriented, Art Cafe. We ate there last night and really enjoyed the quality and variety on offer. It was great to choose from a menu that was different and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll be back again soon.

Fantastic meal in a lovely setting, food was outstanding, 4 small plates between 2 with a decent bottle of wine. Just what budleigh needs. We will be back

I really like this restaurant. It's a cafe by day, but with a bar in the evening, sometimes music and always art. There is a nice atmosphere in the building, with the various current artworks on display. The food is very good and excellent value when you consider the quality. We had grilled plaice and grilled bream, which it is unusual to find on a small cafe menu. Service is brisk and attentive. We have visited a few times now and it always seems to be busy, which must be a good sign

A lovely meal of Pistachio crusted Brill with Burata and candied walnuts, fab wine and great service, we will be back. Friends had the pork belly and beef cheeks with hasselback potatoes they loved it.

Excellent Carlos Serres rioja crianza. Very good bread but the olives are only just OK. The pig cheeks and the hasselback potatoes were great. The room feels more like a cafe than a wine bar but it made a great start to the evening for wine and tapas.

Fabulous meal at Brook Kitchen last night. Lovely vibe and the food was just exceptional. Jake is a very talented young man and with Tyra running front of house this is going to become a foodie go to venue. Cannot recommend highly enough.
