This is a quaint and traditional place, with a lovely and charming atmosphere. It felt like the time had stopped, which was quite refreshing and so different from other modern busy places. Lovely food and prices are also reasonable.

Absolute gem of a place. We had one of the best cream teas here. The owner is really, really friendly and is lovely to chat with. A gent. I strongly recommend a visit. These places deserve to be supported and kept. Forget the big chain "in-vogue" coffee shops and visit this. Truly lovely.

Little gem of a cafe. Friendly service and nicely prepared fresh food. The cafes on the sea front were very busy today.just a short stroll to the edge of the town and the Cosy Teapot is there. I recommend their crab sandwiches served with fresh salad .

Avoid if a cyclist - we were in today and observed a couple of cyclists walk in and were told the place was full when clearly there was an empty table right next to them. Another couple had followed them through the door and were stood behind the cyclist - they asked if there was a table free (no reservation) and were shown to the empty table! You could not make this up. The sandwiches were average. Good luck to this business with such prejudices to tourists.

A lovely family run teashop, with a traditional ambience and where we had a delicious cream tea! Just right.

Friendly, generous, welcoming staff. Excellent service and high-quality food and drink available. Quaint setting with indoor and outdoor (sun trap!) seating.

Had a lovely cream tea, friendly helpful staff. Scrumptious scones, tasty jam and clotted cream.

Lovely welcome, owner very accommodating, moving a table so we had easier access. All staff made sure that everything was satisfactory. The food was lovely. Lots of gluten free on the menu. Salad even had apples and grapes in it. Pasty, hot and lots of filling. Latte coffees were lovely. The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows were almost like a meal in themselves. The cakes and pies for desserts were to die for. (Think I need to go on a diet now!) All in all a fantastic place to go. We will definitely be back. Thank you. X

Next to the little stream that runs through the town. It has a little courtyard with half a dozen tables. The crad sandwich with a little side dressing of salad was perfect. A good variety of sweet and savoury food.

Lovely little place! Nice warm scones, fresh cream and Jam! Just a heads up that Cosy Teapot is cash only but there is a cash point over the road at Tesco.
