Wouldn’t recommend. Average food and very small portions. Didn’t have the 1st two options we wanted, so had 3rd choice dish. Paid £12 for a tiny bowl of pasta that had no flavour. Really sad as it’s a cosy place and could be a really nice and much needed Budleigh local serving reliable pub grub

Can’t really comment on the food or drink as didn’t go in. Was looking forward to a lunchtime drink and something to eat but looking through the window saw punters openly smoking in the bar. Long time since I’ve seen that. So not wanting to get tobacco smoke in our lungs we didn’t enter in. A great pity that such behaviour is tolerated, presume they were locals with ‘special favours’.

Beer and crisps, fine, but if I hadn't already made my mind up not to eat there, then watching one of the chefs walk straight from the urinal out of the loos without going via the sinks and hand dryers would have been enough. Interesting clientele and seemingly 24 hour football on the TV

Fabulous pub, nice and clean and a welcoming landlady, Zena. Food also good especially the steak and black pepper sauce (almost as good as mine ?. Definitely recommend

Lovely clean pub. We only had a sandwich and chips but was delicious and reasonably priced. Added bonus the landlady put the football on for us. Will definitely go back

Nice place to relax with a pint.There's sport on the TV,s in the bar but it's nice and quiet in the lounge area.
This is a local, with great atmosphere and a friendly host. The food is dependable, reasonably-priced pub fare. I ate here twice. What appealed is that, at my age, I don't usually want a big meal: the Feathers offers very reasonably-priced smaller servings. I'd recommend the fish and chips.

Dog friendly inside ??. Staff lovely .I had steak and ale pie ,chips and peas with plenty of gravy . The pie was stuffed with lots of lovely steak and very good value . Five stars ?

Great place for a lunch. Staff welcome everyone, we had to use a side entrance as one of our party was in a wheelchair and they were very accommodating. Dig friendly too, will visit again.
