Supporting the local community. A homely and relaxed, dog friendly cafe. Even a Lunch Club Menu Tues and Thurs. Many Seniors enjoying the delicious fayre whilst I was there today. Everything reasonably priced and drinks loyalty card. My Savoury Tea included a large, beautiful cooked cheese scone, two types of cheese, chutney and even a selection of pickles. Plus pot of tea. Lovely service too. I have worked in a cafe for 17 years and could not fault the experience I had today !!!

Afternoon Tea at Wesley's ... Good job there's a box provided to take home the goodies we'd no room for. Delicious finger sandwiches, then macaron, mini Victoria sandwich cakes and brownies; then fruit and plain scones with copious quantities of jam and clotted cream. And pots of tea and coffee flowed. Lovely atmosphere, attentive colleagues ... a special afternoon with special friends.

We visited for lunch and had a lovely meal, we all had sandwiches which had been freshly made with loads of filling, for the first time ever, our grandson eat coleslaw, potato salad and balsamic vinegar reduction. We had a lovely big pot of tea, but no room left for the cakes, which did look fabulous. The staff who may have also been volunteers, were wonderful, saying sorry for the delay, although there was no delay. We were out for the day so time was not an issue. One of the staff even kindly offered a drink to another guest's dog. There was a lovely atmosphere here and everyone was doing a great job, despite being obviously busy. Can't wait to return to sample the cakes! Such a caring and respectful environment. Thank you so much to everyone.

Well, what are you waiting for? Do not waste time walking up and down Fore Street, go straight to Wesley's. The concept here is marvellous. The service is great and efficient, coffee top-notch, and no words can ever describe the superb cakes. So go on, just call in, and help members of the community too. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

Had a marvellous afternoon tea, beautifully served and amazing value. It made a lovely birthday treat, would certainly recommend it and the great work the charity is doing. Very friendly and welcoming. Need to book for afternoon tea, but we’ll definitely be dropping in to sample the wonderful selection of cakes on display.

A family of 5 adults, staying on holiday locally, thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and cream teas . Very much admire the enterprise and what the charity is doing and should be supported . Lovely to sit out under the trees in the garden beside the Church while the world goes by . T, M, C , B and S .

Popped in for a quick coffee & cake after a walk along the beach. Cake turned into a very tasty waffle full of all things naughty (yet very, very nice). Staff were extremely friendly and atmosphere was lovely and chilled. Really enjoyed this as a cafe to go to and will 100% be returning!
Called in here during a visit to Budleigh Salterton and had afternoon tea and cakes. Chocolate Brownies are superb and such a friendly atmosphere to have a sit down and refreshment. The garden looked inviting in the sunshine and will be back to visit again.

My husband and I stopped here whilst on a bike ride. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We ordered brie, bacon and cranberry sauce paninis. My husband said its the best panini he has ever had. Lots of generous filling. Cooked to perfection! The bacon was really thick and good quality. It came with a lovely side salad with homemade coleslaw and potato salad and crisps. Not only was the food great the lady that served us was very friendly and made us feel welcome. It felt like a nice welcoming space. I can't rate it highly enough. The cakes and scones looked yummy but we were too stuffed. I can't rate it highly enough. There was also a very sweet garden outside but sadly the weather wasn't being kind to us today
