Great place to go food always quick and good price always great place to go for breakfast or lunch when cold and wet outside.

I'm sorry to kick a pub when it's down, and the staff can't be helped, but the service here has gone badly downhill. The shortage of staff is apparent. It was not too busy, but we waited 35mins for food, that when it came out, was lukewarm. Yes, we did get our money back, but this is probably why the place is for sale, they can't be making much money

It is, I believe, one of the Wetherspoons pubs scheduled to be sold. I can understand why. Not the most interesting of buildings. Clearly has had no refurbishment for years . It was unusually empty for a Spoons. And we were treated to loud noises from upstairs, banging doors when staff took things like rubbish out, and barstaff who insisted on throwing empty bottles into two large plastic containers. Why they could not take one step further and place them quietly in the containers beats me. It felt like you were in a breaker's yard. The food, my wife assures me, was fine. I am a fan of Wetherspoons pubs ..cannot pass one without going in. This one is one I might just manage to resist ..unless I need to eat. It would then be tolerable. If the Devil drives needs must. But after we leave Crediton it will not be one I would rush back to if in the area. There are several lovely Spoons in Exeter, just down the road. And this one has the added distinction of being the only spoons we have been to...and we have been to a few! ...with no pizzas available! Inexplicable. Full stop...NONE . I have never before found fault with a Spoons. The breakfast I had was awful. The most tasteless sausages I have ever had the misfortune to sample.

Very clean , great helpful staff ,they ,two of your staff , I didn't see anyone else, were very pleased to help me understand the drinks machine even though I could see they were busy , top mark's especially after a tiring half day in work ,

Without doubt the worst food I have ever been served. Recommend not going there for food.

Nice Wetherspoons pub with standard fare and decent drinks selection ?

Nigel McNeilly

A Wetherspoons pub (but currently for sale - March 2023} with all the usual family friendly offering and a good value food and drink menu.

It's that my food had been bought over to me a little while after we chose a table to sit down at so I could decide what sort of food & drink that I would like ie : feeling that i like a dessert & alcohol drink.

Dennis

Limited choice of ale on my visit but food was good. Historic building.

Joe Lockwood

The food has dropped to appalling standards. Pizza dough served raw, meat served still frozen, human and dog hair found in food. 50% chance you'll send it back due to it being inedible and/or poisonous.
