Wednesday lunchtime, battered sausage, chips and curry sauce. Good price and service. Was not keen on the screens over the counter. Chips could have been hotter.

Food was poor, the fish was very greasy and the mushy peas/ beans are microwaved. Never again!!

The cod and chips was great. Real character serving too. Cod cooked to perfection, batter lovely - not too thick. Chips good - lots of decent sized ones - not all offcuts.

Trawlers Catch is a great place to go for fish and chips in Crediton. When we visited the fish was fresh and the chips are perfectly crispy. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend Trawlers Catch to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable meal. Here are some of the things that make Trawlers Catch a great place to eat:Fresh fish: The fish at Trawlers Catch was fresh, which makes a big difference in the taste. The fish was not overcooked and was moist and flavorful.Crispy chips: The chips at Trawlers Catch were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. They were seasoned perfectly and were not greasy.Friendly staff: The staff at Trawlers Catch were friendly and welcoming. They were happy to help us choose the perfect meal and they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a great dining experience.Quick service: The service at Trawlers Catch was quick and efficient. You won't have to wait long for your food, even if you are dining during a busy time.Overall, Trawlers Catch is a great place to go for fish and chips in Crediton. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. If you don't want to find out until you get home that you've been given a very THIN looking piece of COD, that was meant to be large size, I would highly recommend another 'chippy'. BARELY ANY CHUNKY FLAKES OF FISH! Even the medium size had slightly more 'white fish flakes,' when this item was also lacking in fish quantity!! We have used many other F & C shops across the County and Country and this is by far the worst. A member of our group (in the catering business) ; felt in their opinion that the FISH supply is NOT fresh! I tried to address the matter with various members of staff, but sadly they came across as totally unbothered and rude. From our experience, they are clearly cheating customers in the quantity and quality of fish for the price, compared to what you can actually get far better elsewhere.

Keep getting such undercooked chips decided to stop buying from here. Shame because until a few months ago they were perfect. Hopefully they will sort that out.

Will never buy here again, under cooked chicken burger, cheeseburger was disgusting and chips were black . Would not reccomend
I had a chicken chips and cheese wrap and really enjoyed it. Service was good and we were not kept waiting long. It's on the High Street so parking is a bit hit and miss.Only criticism is a minor one. At the bottom of the wrap, the chips were thin and crunchy. Good if that's what you like but I prefer them not that way. But that's just me! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.Marked as a four stars because of the parking and what felt like a slightly smaller selection than a "regular" chip shop.

My partner asked for 2 Southern fried chicken and chips. And all I got was 1 piece of chicken and a few chips it looks more like a kids meal

Great fish and chips all cooked to order so no soggy fish. Ok you have to wait a bit but food well worth waiting for. Dont order the large cod unless you are really hungry because they are not kidding about large. Big range of other things to have instead ok just fish and chips.

bought here on a number of occasions and food has been fine, however i've just stopped and got fish, chip and peas, i had to wait 10 mins for cooking time too, unfortunately the chips were soggy and cold, the peas were cold (very cold in fact), and the fish looked like a kids portion, all for £9.40, i can honestly say i won't be gong back, its almost as if someone is trying to ruin what was a good little business
