Five of us chose differently from lunch menu. All well prepared and delicious. The waitress offered to change my drink if I didn't like it. Being visitor from abroad the brands were unfamiliar. Never had that option before anywhere. We were also last customers to leave but never a hint of impatience or pressure to go from the staff. Very impressed all round.

Lovely lunch with work friends. Lovely staff and delicious food. I had the gluten free fish and chips which was a real treat. Lovely light batter which isn't usually the case with GF! Also good banter from the waiter!

Nice place for visiting and stay, we stay here for 3 nights, fresh fish food and lovely decorations. Dog friendly hotel and have function room here as well.

Delicious food, attentive staff, excellent service.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On the other hand, tables are too sticky, everything gets stuck ie. Plates, tissues and shirts. The newly refurbished interior lacks a rustic country vibe.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went on a non rugby night 1st time. Think this might become the new local! Chip btw...the best! Plus a proper side salad! Yes!

We celebrated my sisters birthday and there were 13 of us. We had an amazing time, the food was awesome and the staff very friendly and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Thank you!

Tried this place yesterday after visiting somewhere close and thought we would try it out. Best decision we have made in a while, plenty of car parking, food is excellent, varied menu and every dish looks very good. We had the ham egg and chips (came with 2 eggs, always a good sign) and the burger, which was thick and good. Whilst eating, I saw the spare ribs dish going out and suffered choice envy! The staff were all excellent and we had a great meal. This place is well worth a visit if you are in the area

There was the tail end of a function when we arrived and I warned the family that service would be slow but no - the boys worked really hard and service was great. It was busy and so there was a happy buzz inside. I ordered steak and it was cooked just the way I asked. What a lovely meal!

Stopped for a fast EV charge and a drink. Menu looks good but only lunch and evening (not all day).

This was a working visit so we never expect too much when 'on the road'. The room was reasonably basic but couldn't find fault with any aspect of it. It was very clean and perfectly acceptable. We decided to eat in the pub and again didn't expect too much but the food was excellent. Every dish was hot and fresh with generous portions. Staff were attentive - particularly Lisa and Sam - who both provided plenty of laughs - happily soaking up and dishing out the banter in equal measure so it made for a really fun evening. Definitely a good choice.
