I like this café. It's simple and straightforward. I was sorry to see that the former chef was no longer there but the food was what I wanted. It was nice to see that a former member of the team had returned. Prices were noticeably higher than our previous visit.

Great place to eat. Something a bit different. Good value. Chilled out

Terrible! What a shame the previous owners have gone. The new owner doesn’t seem to have any understanding of the Middle Eastern food his (good) chef serves. Smaller portions, less flavour, weak coffee, limp iceberg lettuce masquerading as a salad. A far cry from the previous family-run cafe which was so loved in Exeter. The old cafe was all warm atmosphere and welcoming smiles. The new one is, as befitting the owner’s big black Range Rover, just like any other caff. (The new owner is a tad rude as well.) Give it a miss.

Excellent food and service. I had the soup and cofta. Would definitely recommend this place.

Despite arriving alone, and only wanting a small bite and warm drink to unfreeze me, I had a great time soaking up the atmosphere and warming myself with a delicious hot chocolate and some yummy halloumi. Lovely, friendly staff. I'm sure I'll be returning soon to try out more of the menu.

The best food. Hands down. John and the Team delivered our corporate lunch and everyone commented how amazing it was..... everyone had seconds! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

So so so so good. Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming, good homemade and beautifully tasty, wine surprisingly good considering the location (showing my limited wine knowledge here), pudding spot on. Local and independent vibes shine though for a top dinner. I’ll be

Easily my favourite café in Exeter!! My family have been coming here since I was a baby and the people working here are always so sweet. The food is fresh and full of flavour. Every item on the menu is delicious, although we always order our favourites. I come here every chance I get when home for Christmas or summer. Definitely recommend checking out this restaurant for a meal, take away or even catering for an event!
