Lovely restaurant in the centre of Exeter. Really cute atmosphere inside, and the staff were really friendly. Their 'specials' dish, a Caribbean curry, was really flavourful, and plenty of other things on the menu also sounded amazing.

I absolutely love this place. My girlfriend and I have been going to Herbies for years, even though I’m personally not Vegetarian. I still love everything on the Menu.They have recently changed ownership, but the atmosphere is still comfortable and inviting. Just as it was before. I have met the new owner (Mikey) who is absolutely lovely and seems to have a proper passion for the place. So I am excited to see any changes that may come soon!I would highly recommend for anyone to try Herbies, don’t be afraid to try things even if you are not vegetarian yourself, as there are some stunning dishes that anyone can enjoy?.

Herbies always hits the spot if I want a really good, nutritious & tasty meal. Reasonably priced considering everything is homemade & great portion sizes.Cosy, relaxed environment with lovely staff- a really nice place to go for a solo treat, in a couple or with friends.Amazing to have quite a few vegan options for puds & lots of GF options. It ticks all the boxes & best of all: independently owned :)

Three course Christmas dinner. The food was all vegan, was really flavoursome and served piping hot. A brilliant evening. Highly recommend. My husband is not a vegan but thought the food excellent.

After years of meaning to check Herbies out, my husband and I made it for lunch over the half term. As far as service and atmosphere, this place is wonderful. We felt well taken care of without being hovered over and the restaurant itself is very cozy and in an easy to get to location. If you are a vegan or vegetarian, this is a good option. The food was good overall but we found aspects of the meal more on the bland side, especially the hummus. The focaccia was delicious and the star of the meal.
