Friendly service and nice coffee and cake. A great stop while out cycling. I even got some technical help from the cycle place next door!

We had a lovely breakfast here during our stay in Exeter. Lovely location on the quay, even managed to sit outside in the sunshine on a warm March Sunday! Excellent, attentive service from the super young staff. Delicious, quirky food, the most lovely avocado on toast ever! Lovely coffee. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back again and worth the lovely walk down to the quay.

Disappointed with the farmers breakfast - the beans were watery and tasteless and the poached eggs were more like hard boiled eggs! There is also a 10%

Today we had brunch at @mangosexeter I am not sure how this place has escaped me so far because the food it’s DELICIOUS ?? I had the FARMERS BREAKFAST (Smoked bacon, Devon pork sausage, roasted tomato, mushroom, grilled chorizo chunks, spiced beans, & poached eggs) which hopefully I am having again very soon! ? I would also like to mention how lovely & friendly the staff were! ?

Decent quality food, albeit quite small portions.BEWARE 10% surcharge is added to the bill for service.we did not see any warning of this on the menu. Despite this there was also a bowl on the bar for additional tips!!For the above reason we will not be returning.

Rude and pretentious member of staff. 45 minutes wait for food. If you want to be talked down to then that is the place to go (at least that was my experience with one member of staff).

Second time here in about 5 weeks, was very busy today being Christmas week but managed to get a table and although we were warned food orders might take up to 40 minutes, our arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. As per last time food was fantastic and service fab - great to see an independent business doing so well.

Immediately we entered the restaurant we were greeted by an extremely helpful and friendly member of staff. The menu choice was extensive and varied, my wife succumbed to the waffles which were delicious and extremely well presented. My bacon & brie panini was truly “out of this world” how something so simple could be so good is beyond my comprehension, well done to the kitchen. I did ask specifically about the brie ((because it was so good) unfortunately the team couldn’t give me any details. The coffee and my wonderful pint of Devon Rock were excellent too, and unlike some restaurants fairly priced. The restaurant was extremely clean and tidy too. We will return.
