I don't normally score down a business but I can't let anyone else fall for it this place is quite pricey although cheap for topsham when I goto an Italian restaurant for a meal I expect fresh pasta this place is nothing but packets of dried pasta and you can see them on the shelves from the restaurant which makes it even more blatant

Visited for a birthday meal. When booking we were advised that there was a large party booked that evening and we were given to option to dine before them. The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. Haven’t been for years before this and we’ve been missing out that’s for sure.

Having visited half a dozen places trying to find somewhere with an allergen menu which didn't need the internet, we chanced upon Marcello.The waitress said that everything could be made gluten free. I had plate envy for the traditional pizza our neighbours were eating.Now, gluten free Italian pizza when eating out is a holy grail. So I was quite disappointed to be told the waitress had made a mistake, and it was all the pastas which were gluten free.On the plus side: there was an unusually large range of pasta (I had linguini) and it was an excellent gf pasta (I use Rummo at home), and the sauce was amazing.
