Absolutely terrible understanding by the staff of "safety", after witnessing 2 members of staff proceed to take their smoking breaks standing directly next to the gas cannisters storage area with a sign clearly stating "no naked flame or fire"!! Absolutely gobsmacked while waiting in line for the car wash with my 2 year old daughter in the car! God help the outcome should anything of happened!! Absurd.

Must be the most expensive petrol station in Exeter. Really take advantage of its location and screw the motorists. Go a bit further along the roads north and find better prices is my recommendation

I'm a driving instructor, so on the road all day and popping in to the Shell garage is a fairly regular occurrence. Staff are without fail, cheerful, kind and helpful. Garage is well run and loo is clean! I'd be lost without it at times, particularly when I need a wee!Thank you for being there ?

Paid £1 to top up my screen wash and nothing came out. Went inside to complain and the lady said she did not have the ability to refund my £1, but she tried to help, took my number and the address of the Shell station nearest my house and said they would try to get that station to refund me.She questioned that there was actually a screen wash pump, saying that the pumps only dispense air and water. Not a surprise the screen wash isn’t maintained if the staff don’t know that it exists!It’s just one pound, but still it shouldn’t happen. I will update the star rating of this review when I get my great British pound back.Update: Three weeks have passed, and I have not received the promised contact. It seems this station has no issue getting a free pound out of its customers.
Never thought I’d end up reviewing a petrol station but the shop assistant was by far the nicest guy in the world! Both helpful and friendly.I think we need more people like him in this world. I actually found myself leaving the station smiling and the whole experience weirdly made my evening.

One of staff members every time I'm coming asking me for my id ( I'm there weekly basis for fuel) today 26/7/2020 been forced to remove my face mask because she wanted to check something, avoid if you want stay safe.
