Went to go here yesterday with my partner, we was unsure whether it was open at first, we walked through the door and there was a guy with a massive chip on his shoulder. We got two steps in and turned straight around and walked back out, based on other reviews i have seen it seems this member of staff may not be the best for your business. If he was my member or staff he would be looking for another job!

What a lovely place!!! Really friendly (and very knowledgeable) staff, excellent range of spirits including their own gin, vodka, and whisky! Four or five great beers on keg, really great atmosphere. I really loved it and will definitely be back!

Overpriced drinks with under qualified attitudes from the staff. Never again. How has this place for 5 stars?

Seems to have new owners, very unwelcoming, unless your known like the staff can’t be bothered, used to like this place not anymore,

Very rude bar staff, gone downhill. Very unprofessional. Like they didn’t want to be inconvenienced by customers and like a owners youth club

Used to be one of our favourite bars in Exeter, now seems unwelcoming, very loud music, and very pricey beer.

John Kimber

Very loud music and the bloke behind the bar had a bad attitude, however the girl that served me was really friendly.

£8.40 for a pint, and a barman with a massive chip on his shoulder. Rude and unwelcoming. Horrendous.

Awful staff! Very expensive! Trying to be something it isn't! Shame it takes a good location!

George van Hasselt

I love the atmosphere, I have a fear of heights and it was not an issue with the staff.
