No dogs allowed even in garden!! We had service dog, manager agreed but we been bothered by every stuff about the dogs not allowed there. We just had pint and we walked out. Not recommended.

I’m guessing this is one of the flagship Wetherspoons being in Tim Martin’s hometown. The building is stunning and the garden is enormous. It can get silly busy, but today it was OK.
Great pub, polite and helpful staff and has all 30 beers from beer festival on at same time.
