This is the epitome of what a community pub should be, warm welcoming and good food. Family orientated.Vegetarian options: My D- in - L is vegetarian and she was happy with her choice of meal.Kid-friendliness: Children do not seem to be a problem. It’s not overrun and those present were well behaved.

Such a lovely experience. They were SO dog friendly and welcoming. They loved my dog, and she loved them! Great food, great price and excellent selection of wine and gin. Highly recommend.
Great service and even better food. For a Thursday it was busy and the staff were on it. The food was excellent for all four of us. The best Steak & Ale pie I've had for a long while.

Friendly welcome and pleasant atmosphere. Bar area is open plan, but there are plenty of cosy corners to sit. We had two good snacks and local ale is well kept in barrels behind bar
