Absolutely love Zizzi, this one especially because it is in such a nice setting! Food was lovely as usual, my only fault would be a the pricing, which is pretty high compared to competitors such as Zizzi. That’s not an issue with this particular outlet though, more the whole chain in general, so my 5 star rating remains.Vegetarian options: Large vegetarian section on the menu that caters for all dietary requirements in this category.Dietary restrictions: There is a large section that caters for people with dietary restrictions that includes lots of dishes that are to a similar description as the main menu items.Parking: Parking is pretty hard to find and quite far away. Most are paid car parks, so this is more of a place you’d stumble upon having walked and parked elsewhere.Kid-friendliness: There is a children’s menu available and kids are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor and has a disabled toilet downstairs.

Lovely evening, really friendly staff.Be aware you can't use Tesco clubcard vouchers at this Zizzi though!

My family had a lovely visit until we came to pay the bill. Our Zizzi’s vouchers from Tesco could not be used at this venue. This was not apparent anywhere, you will find it in the small print in the ‘need to know’ information when you first buy the vouchers. This isn’t something you tend to read when you’ve bought these vouchers so many times. Please be aware, it’s turned into an expensive mistake!!

When is a chain not a chain?Beware the Tesco voucher scam by Zizzi. No notice anywhere visible but when you come to pay in Exeter, you won't be able to use vouchers. It's hidden well in the Tesco Concard rewards section. Be careful not to waste point like we did.

Lovley dining experience at Zizzi Exeter last night. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs as a party of 7. The service was fast and efficient. They listened when I had to special order something for my autistic son and got it right. Food was amazing, hot, fresh and very tasty. And they very kindly allowed us to bring our own birthday cake which they brought out to us at the end of the meal..10 out of 10. Will definitely be recommending Zizzi to friends.Dietary restrictions: We had a person who has celiac's in our party and they made absolutely sure their was no gluten in any of the dishes chosen.Kid-friendliness: Altered a meal choice to accommodate an autistic child. And brought out pudding very quickly for him. Also they didnt talk down to him which was wonderful..

6th Feb 2024: Karina and Eleanor really looked after us. Great food too. Definately recommend anyone who wants good service and decent Italian food.Vegetarian options: Perfect. Our veggies were fussy but really happy. Thanks

Over a hour wait for starters and nearly two hours before we got our main. If you’re busy/understaffed then say that before you seat a family. We arrived and it wasn’t busy so unsure what the issue was to wait two hours. Waitress was apologetic but it was a special occasion and made us late to our next part of the day… dampened the afternoon.

Normally completely against chains, especially Italian. But this was a great surprise. The set menu was filling, delicious and absolutely fantastic value for money and I would 100% go back!
