Disappointed. Collected Large Cod, Chips and Curry Sauce. Cod was anything but large. It was wafer thin with far too much batter and only slightly warm, Chips were good but Curry Sauce was stone cold so had to reheat that and the fish. Second time recently that the food has been really disappointing. Will be trying somewhere else from now on.

One of the best fish and chip shops I've ever been too! They offer so much choice including grilled fish and battered chips! Well worth a visit if you're in the area. Definitely order ahead at peak times as it tends to get busy most nights!

Quite possibly the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! Battered chips were absolutely delicious, cod was hot and crispy, curry sauce was gorgeous, none of this watery rubbish I've had in the past from other shops. Staff were on top form too, smiley and friendly service during a busy Saturday lunchtime, well done all. Would recommend to anyone Can we get a Krispies in the Torbay area please?

Firstly me and my wife were not greeted in a nice way from any of the staff at Krispies. We ordered from a lady who was rather abrupt. However this is understandable as she was probably concentrating and probably not meaning to be. However, from when I placed my order this member of staff named James was hovering around giving myself and my wife dirty looks. This made us feel uncomfortable. Also he was going around distracting chefs, who were also working with hot cooking oil! I get the impression his job was supposed to be boxing and bagging up the meals when they were ready. Nevertheless, James was more interested going around bragging about to other members of the workforce what he had done the night before. This then resulted in the order being delayed due to other members of the workforce being distracted by his immaturity and lack of professionalism. He was not even closing the lid to either of the chip scuttles or the windows to the fish rack despite them containing food in each of them. Eventually my order was ready and prepared by James, who was rude and arrogantly shouted "here sir!". I thanked him, took our order and left. He didn't even acknowledge me or my wife when we took the order from him. Sadly, the problems didn't stop here as thanks to James' carelessness our food was stone cold! The fish was swimming in oil. There is something seriously wrong here. With the staff and the food. It will be The Proper Fish & Chips Co for us from now on!
