Delightful lunch in unpretentious friendly family run restaurant. Good flavours and sensible portions from a fixed price menu of £27 for 3 courses. Possibly the best value up market dining in East Devon.

This was our first visit to Saveur, hopefully it won't be our last. We will most certainly eat there again when we next visit Exmouth. As our star rating suggests, Saveur is a top notch restaurant to eat. The owner couldn't' have been more helpful in accommodating my wife in her wheelchair. The food is superb, fresh tasty seasonal produce.Thank you!!

Terrific food at lunch which was well served and fresh. Hake was locally caught and delicious. Wine complimented the meal and friendly professional service.

My wife and I were looking for a great restaurant with the emphasis on fish whilst we spent an evening in Exmouth. After doing some research and seeing the excellent reviews we decided to eat at Saveur and it didn’t disappoint. Kerry gave us a lovely welcome and spent time talking us through the menu and recommending a fantastic rose. We had the monk fish scampi and mackerel to start, both incredible. We then had the catch of the day, my wife had sea bass and I had the dover sole… these were both cooked beautifully and were exceptionally tasty. We then shared a chocolate brownie with plum compote and then shared an amazing cheese board, again Kerry spending time with us walking us through the cheese menu. A really lovely evening with fantastic food. A lovely ambience. Good value. Highly recommend going. We went on a Thursday evening and I’d recommend booking in advance as this place is very popular… which is no surprise!!! Look forward to a return visit. Thanks to Nigel (chef) for a memorable meal.

Visited here earlier this evening as a treat for my wife's birthday with her younger daughter and myself. The menu is short but absolutely everything on it is 100% fresh, cooked to order and completely delicious. Could go on but just say it's tip top. Recommended

My wife and I went here recently to celebrate her birthday. The waitress was fab and friendly and had a great sence of humour. Unfortunately that was where the fun ended. My wife ordered dover sole and I had the pork dish. Mine was extremely salty but I decided not to say anything, however my wife's meal was inedible because everything was plastered in heaps of salt. We called the waitress over, who then asked the owner to come and speak to us. She was very curt and offered to recook the meal. We asked if whe would take bith away as we didn't want to eat alone or leav mine to go cold whilst they recooked for my wife. She took both away but quickly returned to inform us that she had tasted both and thought that the fish was fine but maybe the pork was a bit too salty! I informed her that I was very sorry and that we did not agree and that bith my wife and I thought that the dover sole was extremely salty. At this point she started to raise her voice and attracted the attention of the rest of the diners. At this I decided that it was time for us to leave as the situation was irreconcilable and that we would oay for the wine but not the food and got up from the table and went into the bar area to pay. The owner followed me and as I went to hand her my credit card she raised her voice again and shouted "I don't need this or your money, just go!" We would like to thank Kerry and her husband for ruining my wife's borthday

We have wanted to try this restaurant for a while and at last today we got the opportunity as we were without kids for the weekend. It fully lived up to its excellent reviews - the mushroom and Stilton soup was exquisite as was the duck scrumpet ( shredded duck and formed into cuboid then fried). Fish of the day was well presented with lovely accompaniments and desert could not be missed - panna cote that had the right amount of wobble. There isn’t a wide menu, but the food is exceptional and enough choice I would say to cater for most people’s tastes. We will be back without a doubt - one of those restaurants you remember and look forward to returning to again in the future.

We have eaten dinner in this lovely little restaurant on two evenings recently. On both occasions the standard of hospitality, service and food was superb. They specialise in fish with a choice of sauces. The menu is not extensive but that ensures that everything is cooked to order and they are eager to address individual requests. Saveur means flavour and we found the balance of flavour and portion sizes were spot on. The monkfish scampi was excellent and the sole with Romesco sauce was to die for! Fortunately we live locally and can visit again soon. Thank you.

Our first visit. We will definitely be back. Excellent service, attentive but did not rush us. A lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere for dinner. We both had the catch of the day which was cooked to perfection. Shared a dessert as we were full! Wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary.

We had previously visited Saveur for lunch and been impressed. We were greeted warmly and the service throughout was excellent. The menu was not extensive but there was plenty that suited us. We both had Stilton and Mushroom soup for starters which was exceptionally good. The Lemon sole main course was cooked to perfection and delicious. We had no room for desserts. We easily found a wine to our taste on the reasonably priced list. We would commend Saveur very highly.

Eaten here many times but last Saturday 4th September the restaurant catered for 21 ladies for a “ Hen party” Nigel the chef cooked 21 different starters, 21 mains and desserts with no help in his kitchen. Presentation was superb and all delivered to our tables by Kerry and two other staff . The food was and never fails to disappoint. This restaurant is amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending this little gem of a place. My favourite starter every visit is the monkfish scampi! Thank you Kerry and Nigel
