Poor selection of vegetables. The flatest Yorkshire puddings ive ever seen. Gravy had a fatty taste .

We go here every year whilst staying at Devon Cliffs as there’s always a warm welcome! Don’t know the name of the man that always serves us but he is so friendly & good fun! Carvery is amazing! Thoroughly recommend this pub!

Me and my wife had our wedding reception there and WOW JUST WOW staff was so amazing make our day special Natasha (tash) was amazing even sang a song for us on our special day we had buffet which was so amazing could fault in any way so much food had to bring some home. Main meals Yorkshire pudding and mash and sausages and peas everyone loved it so hot and gravy was amazing, beef burger and chips and sides was amazing also so hot and people commented how nice all the food was kids nuggets the same and kids burger which all loved and the veg burger was loved also all the food was so nice and amazing value for money and how much you got per meal wow some of us struggled to eat all of it with the excellent apple crumble and custard wow bowl was so full loved all of it and the choc cake and custard, due to the amazing food no one wanted wedding cake or even look at it as everyone was so full. To all at the clinton thank you for making it a night to remember and perfect way to start our lives together.

First time eating here. Gorgeous carvery. Plenty of meat and large selection of veg. Everything was cooked to perfection. Genuinely the best carvery I've had in years. Very reasonably priced food and drinks. All staff were friendly. Recommend booking in advance, it was busy.

Good food and plenty, service was slow due to shortage of staff, which we understood. Atmosphere was made by ourselves around the table by the family. All that said we would go again as the food was good .

Popped over the road as the Tythe was closed.Ordered two glasses of Merlot and asked if they were still serving Sunday roast at 2.35 pm, the young man said he would ask….. He never came back to us, whilst we sat at the table waiting the young couple next to us were clearly unhappy with their meal so we drank the wine from the poorly cleaned glasses and left.

As a large group went to pub to order food upon ordering drinks found the glasses all filthy dirty 3 off the pints bought also contained (floaters) objects that should never be in a pint glass. We left the place before even trying to finish drinks, the thought of eating food in this establishment when way from our minds. As we left we saw a little thatched pub across the way (tythe cottage) although they where a little over whelmed with our large group they still accommodated us with great clean drinks and food, on leaving we where advised to try and pre book in the future as it’s a very small family runner place but amazing compared to the CLINTON ARMS STAY WELL CLEAR

Came down for the Karaoke on Saturday night. Felt like walking into a saloon bar when it went quiet and everyone turned around……. Rugby was on, with about 3 people watching it that weren’t staff. Such a shame as had a great Saturday night here a few weeks ago! Facilities are great. Lovely space, good beers on tap. Just a shame it’s not used to it’s full potential (and for the karaoke it had advertised). I’m not a local, but my parents are, and hope to come again when it has a bit more life as it has great potential!

Was not bad 6 months ago but today, don't seem too bothered about whether they serve you or not, and when they want £9 for a jacket potato and £6 for a battered sausage, well, make your own minds up!!

A lovely little pub. If you want simple tasty pub grub with a relaxing atmosphere then this is the place for you. We found this place on our drive past and decided to stop for lunch. The food was simple pub grub which is just what we wanted. It was hot, tasty food in a relaxed setting. Service was very quick and staff friendly. 4 stars due to dirty highchair and baby changing.Kid-friendliness: Nice simple kids menu which was great for a our one year old. Had a highchair for him to sit in which was a little dirty but nothing a quick wipe over couldn't fix. Baby changing was really dirty so did change baby in the car.

Called in on way back to Devon Cliffs. Not a great choice on the menu. Food arrived. Didn't enjoy it and was too embarassed to say anything. I'd of rather paid another £5 and eaten at South Beach Cafe on the caravan park...(which we have done twice on our break prior to this). Stick to a drink only!
