The food is always very good, the staff are always pleasant apart from the man behind the counter. He always staring at people who are laughing and joking about. I think he only likes the old people in there.

Magnolia cafe exmouth.Went into here today with my nan my one year old and my two year old. My one year old was having a tantrum, my two year old was sat watching her tablet quietly. My nan went up and ordered coffees and food, I took my one year old outside to try and calm her down came back in and she was still crying. The man which I think was the owner told us to leave. I refused and said baby’s cry, he could see I was trying to calm her down. When we refused to leave he threatened to call the police. He didn’t even have the decency to come over to me and ask me to leave. He stood behind the counter and said it so everyone in there could hear. Humiliating. This lovely couple in their sat with my one year old so we could drink our coffees and eat our food. The world needs more people like you guys in it!Wouldn’t recommend going here if you have young children. Baby’s cry and have tantrums. I suggest you put a sign on your door saying no children allowed. Absolutely fuming.I’ve also had many messages about this man’s behaviour towards staff how he treats people is disgusting and he has done similar to this before. With people with learning difficulties and children.

Lovely cafe with lovely staff. Will definitely be visiting again when next in the area! I have nothing bad to say at all

Male member of staff was extremely rude about a Toddler having a tantrum as most kids do the mother was extremely upset as he threatened to phone the police on them and told them they had to leave ! Do not recommend if you are a young person or with a child as staff cannot accommodate them ...my drink was practically water and when sent back got very annoyed and was reluctant to give me another..all children have tantrums do not recommend at all very awful service and attitude

Awful food and awful owners. If it wasn’t for the child who was singing sweet lullabies would of demanded my money back. Won’t be returning.

This man bullies people I’ve had loads of private messages on Facebook of the same experiences.

Never ever will I return here. Watching two grown adults arguing in front of customers. Bullying his wife. Nasty old man who owns it. Unfriendly and bullying the young girls who work after school. Yelling at kids. Overcharging old people who don't want to walk far from the bus stop.

Called in for drinks, friends had white coffee which they said was very nice, I had a pot of tea which came with a pot of hot water, which also was good. The prices were reasonable and the cafe was full.

A lovely spacious but quiet cafe. Efficiently friendly staff. The cakes looked amazing. Good varied menu and the best toast I have ever had!! Very good value for money. Will go back.

Lovely home cooked food, including children's meals. Excellent for a lunchtime snack or light meal.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice - Macaroni Cheese was a hit!Kid-friendliness: Home cooked, not frozen chicken nuggets for a change.

Came in for breakfast after a night out at the Pavilion. The ingredients were very good quality and cooked perfectly. Nice clean surroundings and polite pleasant staff.

Called in on Thursday 23rd February whilst on a day trip to Exmouth. Ordered a three egg cheese omelette with salad. Delicious. Lovely and tasty with a varied salad and coleslaw. The cakes looked fabulous but I was being good and resisted. Very friendly staff and clean pleasant surroundings

Excellent quiche & salad served quickly at a busy time. Small number of very efficient staff. Well spaced tables. Clean toilets.
