I don’t leave reviews as a rule but this local gem is just fantastic. Truly locally produced meat, eggs, cheese, veg, bread, pasta and more to buy, plus really great hot food and drinks. Family business run by the nicest people. Great views, donkeys and pigs to visit, brilliant place for kids. Loads of parking. I can’t fault it.

Local produce on my door step. Reduce food miles and be 100% sure on traceability. Grand kids love it too with the outdoor play area whilst I sit and enjoy a bite to eat.

Stopped here for a coffee instead of at Nkuku whose cafe closes much earlier than advertised, and I’m very glad I did. Daynes has real character; it feels like you are really supporting (very) local business and the coffee was lovely. Picked up some veggies too - there was a great selection.

Helen and Dave have created a great business selling their own organic meat & veg as well as from other local suppliers. Their coffee and range of home made pastries and cakes go down a treat well worth a visit.

We stopped in snow to get a hot drink & snack, the pasty was great (amazing pastry too) and the gingerbread Rudolf was the most delicious I’ve ever eaten - even the decoration was ?

Stopped here for a tea & bacon sandwich on our way to Salcombe.A little piece of heaven with lovely views, good tea, fresh sourdough and bacon from the farm. We also bought their home grown sausages which we had today for breaky. Everything 10 out of 10.

Turned up as the main road to Dartmouth was closed! So glad we did, the roast beef baps were excellent and so was the coffee. The service was really friendly and the view is absolutely spectacular.

I started a foraging course for the morning from the farm shop. It made for a perfect location to start and you can really feel the community spirit the way the businesses are working together. The shop is well stocked and plenty of treats with ample seating with beautiful views and a few outdoor toys to entertain children.

Best farm shop I’ve been to in a long time, the meat was outstanding.Excellent all round experience, from the beautiful roads in with signage to soaking in the sun on the deck. What an amazing spot they have, cannot wait to come back and see how things progress.Would absolutely recommend their steaks in particular, blows anything else out of the water and a very reasonable price for such quality too!Wish them all the best
