Delivery extremely slow/non existent! Ordered at 6.09 via Uber eats. Delivery estimated as 7.15. Called at 7.45 to be told it's out with the driver. Call again at about 8.30 and still out with the driver. Call at 9.10 for them to say it is here we are waiting for a driver. We tell them we collect and when we arrive it's now gone out with a driver. Currently sat here 3 and half hours after ordering and still waiting for food. Extremely poor customer service. First and last time I will be ordering from here!

Wow what a pleasant surprise. Food was 30 minutes early and so hot we had to wait for it to cool a little. Big portions of lovely food not at all greasy. We are both totally full and contented. Will definitely order again.

I ordered a delivery from The Babas last night and I am fussy, but the food delivered was hot and exactly as I asked for it. It was excellent and the delivery bloke was polite too. Well done we all really enjoyed our food

The kebabs were AMAZING! we cannot fault the tender and flavoursome meats (wife and I had diffrent things) or the amazing chips and onion rings.\\n\\nWe are so used to dirty kebabs that look like they were scraped off the floor and then covered in 2 day old salad with 3 gallons of Mayo just to cover it up.\\n\\nTHIS WAS 100% THE BEST KEBAB WE'VE EVER HAD.\\n\\nThe meat was amazing, the salad was fresh and it was served in a lovely split tray so we didn't end up with a soggy pitta bread. We will 100% use babas 40 dishes in the future.\\n\\nOur only criticism would be that the spicy spuds were a little soft and not as crispy as we like them but to be, but to be honest the food was that good they could of thrown a raw spud at us and we wouldn't of complained.\\n\\nWell done baba 40 dishes team, Amazing job.

Just received our kebabs after a one hour and 45 minute wait. 2 phone calls and being told it was busy on a weekend ( this is Friday @ 17:11) ain't much good when you pay and receive cold food. If I had been told that I'd have to wait 1 hour 36 minutes, I wouldn't have bothered. ( It certainly wasn't worth the wait!) Take it from me, Feed Well Malaysian/ Chinese, Eggbuckland or Francines on North Prospect Road is the place to order from. The latter for kebabs.

Great food but delivery is consistently late every time we have ordered.\\nStaff are great if you go in, but every time we have ordered for delivery they are later than the given time and give excuses about the traffic or roadworks. If you order from just eat be prepared for it to be a considerable amount of time after the estimated time first given. I fell foul of this last night I ordered at around 17:00, just eat said 50 mins, then the delivery time change to 18:30 which is when I needed to leave my house to go out. It eventually came at 18:45 after I had already left. Had a cold take away at about 22:30 last night because of their tardiness which was very disappointing.

Very poor customer service. The food was over an hour and a half late (8:30) After pre booking at 5:40 for 7pm. When the food arrived, it was wrong. Called them and the shift manager refused to talk to us. Was offered a replacement of the wrong items, but would have to wait another 45 minutes! Asked for a full refund, and was told we could have discount off the next order. No thank you! The excuse was that they had 111 orders and 6 members of staff. STOP TAKING ORDERS IF YOU CANNOT FULFILL THEM! Fuming!

Ordered 4 burgers on line, ready for collection in 15 minutes. Each and every burger was different ( fussy eaters in our office!) Each and every burger was absolutely delicious. Best burger I personally have had in years and my colleagues all agreed! dish delish..yum yum :) compliments to the chef :)

After ordering food yesterday 16.1.2021 it was delivered 2 hours after order was placed...absolutely stone cold...after ringing the shop 98 times finally got an answer...was told the manager would phone me back...today....have since phoned to speak to the manager...Still no joy....Well here is my message to the manager....please don't think that I am going to stop ringing...until you contact me I am going to continually ring until you have the common decency to call me and sort this out...paying £30 plus for food that we couldn't eat is no joke. As I said I'm not going away so I suggest you call.

45 mins late, spillage in bags, so one dish lost, all dishes Luke warm, poppadum, smashed into very tiny pieces.Total disgrace. My son in Kuala Lumpur ordered this as he couldn’t be home. Can’t tell as he would be distraught.

This kebabs shop saved my life! The owner made the prices so high I could never eat anything from here so I lost weight and saved my life thank you Babas. First off what a lovely looking menu But then you get to the prices ?! What is the owner thinking ! Priced far to high! Your notice the kebabs are cut with onions to so less meat!

Placed an order online and picked up my food without having to hang around too long. I went for the chicken and rib combo with spicy spuds. Don't get this, it was horrible. Dry chicken, fatty, grisly rib with no meat whatsoever. I know it was a bit of a warm evening, but I couldn't help noticing a fellow customer's food being prepared by a guy who was sweating profusely. Several times I saw drops of sweat drop from his brow into the food he was putting together. If it had been my food he was preparing, I'd have asked for it to be re-done. By somebody else!! Won't be going there again.
