“Popped in for the first time for breakfast as we were up in Plymouth. Loved the atmosphere, staff were very friendly. Food was excellent. My partner is celiac and they had a big range and nothing was too much trouble.
Dietary restrictions: My partner is celiac and had a good choice of food.”

“Just had a lovely lunch and catch up with my friend here. It’s a lovely little place, with delicious food and drinks. I tried the boyga and a totally bananas smoothie which didn’t disappoint. The hash browns are amazing!! Would highly recommend this place :) will definitely be returning soon to try more on the menu.”

“Best brunch in Plymouth. I’m a brunch girl and I’ve eaten all over the world. The Harissa/ eggs and avocado was easily the best brunch I’ve had in a long time. The pancakes were a delicious treat with literally cherries on the top. Impressive menu, cool vibe (think cool art and old school chairs) and a central location. They even sell vinyl..We will be back!”

“This is a long over due review as I have been meaning to comment on “The Bean” for a while now. This place rocks, not only is the menu brilliant (and mostly gluten free) but the staff are just fantastic, they’re always smiling and welcoming and have made me laugh on multiple occasions. This lovely little cafe is also extremely accommodating/accessible, the entrance is wide with a ramp and a handrail which is fantastic for disabled customers. The final gold star I have for “The Bean” is the inclusion of sanitary towels and hygiene products in the bathroom that are free to use it's so genuinely heartwarming to see.Thank you for serving me, my mum and my partner the other day, I look forward to visiting you all again!”

“Had a omelette and coffee brilliant prices. The staff go out of there way to be friendly to you and are super efficient. I will defo be coming here again beats the rest hands down. Love the choice of music by the way mone of this rubbish from today. Once again the right balance in every way a definite hit on your hands. Don't know why i didn't see you sooner.
However I've been here on a few occasions since and I would Like to add that I think the Food has gone down hill I had a breakfast it had a raw sausage when I had a quiet word as I didn't want to make a scene I was spoken to very rudely by the chef with the glasses. There have been a few occasions where the food has been a bit questionable of late. I also observed that there was 1 girl running around doing all the work when the others were standing around the counter giggling doing nothing when tables and and floors needed cleaning. When you having a restaurant there's always something to be done. I have noticed when the younge staff are present they haven't got the same attitude as the older ones.”
“Awesome place, quality food and love the coffee. Always friendly quick service and great prices too!”
