We were slightly concerned with some recent negative reviews on TripAdvisor but overall our meal was great - food was really tasty and very impressed with large portion sizes. The service was good but could have been a little more attentive. Atmosphere would have been much better in the evening if the light a had been dimmed a little bit - it was just a bit too bright - but overall thank you !

Great food, great service.. lovely little restaurant! Atmosphere was a bit off but probably because the restaurant wasn’t very busy at the time.

After visiting on two previous occasions and being thoroughly impressed I decided to go again on my latest work trip to Plymouth. How disappointing! I had the slow cooked belly pork which was dry and tough as old boots. The mash was lumpy and tasteless, and the green veg was stringy and not high quality. I paid £19 for the privilege and no discount offered despite complaining. Such a shame as on my previous visit in February I sent the waitress to the kitchen with compliments for the chef. Unfortunately I won't be back again.

After visiting here in the past and having a really enjoyable time we thought we would come back .. sadly on this occasion it was far from enjoyable... after waiting over an hour for our food , it wasn't worth the wait at all , we left most of it as it was pretty inedible.. spoke to the young lady and she apologized more than enough , we were discounted for the food ... i don't know if the business it's self has changed hands recently as it wasn't too long ago that we visited and this was a far cry from what it used to be .. will not be returning

The worst meal I've had anywhere in a long time. Took them 1.5 hours to bring out inedible raw food. We paid for our drinks and left to find somewhere else to eat. Completely ruined our evening. Will not be returning.

We had been before and enjoyed it. This was a birthday occasion. We had let the restaurant know this at the time of booking, but no mention was made on the night. The meal was very disappointing: the waitress didn't register our order for a calamari starter, so our main courses arrived without it. The Sea Bass was fine, but the £24.95 8 oz sirloin steak was 4 oz of gristle. Also, in a restaurant that is aiming at a higher level than pub meals, it seems odd to serve the steak with onion rings, tomatoes, mushroom and chips. Some fresh vegetables were missing from both dishes and would have enhanced them. The glasses of wine (Monterey Chardonnay and Temperanillo Cabernet Sauvignon) were very enjoyable. We left feeling quite flat about the food. Maybe, there has been a change of ownership; but the overall standard didn't measure up to the prices.

Absolutely awful- have never experienced service like it. Booked a table 7.30- had starter 7.50- at 8.50 our mains had not arrived. Asked waitress, who said she would ask the chef- she didn’t even return to feedback what chef had said. After 5 mins I asked her again - she just said sorry again. Supervisor came and said sorry, again, and that food would be another 15 mins. We were exhausted and left. Luckily had food in 5 mins from a family food van on the harbour. Absolutely awful and would not recommend.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Quay 33 last night. There were 16 of us and everyone was delighted with their food. Everything well organised with friendly, helpful staff. Allowing people to pay separately was not a problem. Food was fresh and tasty, portion size generous. Thankyou Quay 33 for ensuring we all had a lovely evening.

Couldn’t finish all the food and was hoping to take the rest of it away - this is the USED plastic boxes they gave us .. (p.s. risotto is extremely salty, salad is lovely)

Polite, attentive staff and tasty freshly cooked food. Couldn't fault my Fish of the day, which was hake with veg and new potatoes. Would definitely recommend.

Fab meal and fab service. Would highly recommend. Staff were so attentive. It was very busy but couldn't fault a thing.

Great food, great service. Was empty when we went in so got seated straight away. There's not a lot on the menu but it is a nice range, with a few Gluten Free options.Dietary restrictions: The menu isn't huge anyway, but there are some Gluten Free options

My absolute favourite restaurant in Plymouth. Consistently excellent food every time I have visited over the last 10 years. Beautiful flavours, top quality fresh and local produce and simply delicious dishes. Staff are warm and welcoming and the restaurant feels buzzy and special. Can’t recommend highly enough for everything from casual lunches to special occasions.
