We had a buffet style meal here for our work Christmas get together. The service was prompt considering it was a busy night (last Friday before Christmas) so I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and also the quality of the food was very good. The cocktail deals were very good and the staff helpful when using the app.Overall I'd say if you're looking for an inexpensive casual night this isn't the right venue for you, but if you're celebrating and would rather pay a little more for good quality then go ahead and book.

Service was really poor. We had booked a bottomless brunch so had limited time to order. We were told staff would come to our table to take our order, but we were left waiting so long that we went to the bar to order. A staff member didn’t attend our table until 30 minutes after we arrived. When we did order a drink through the table staff it took 30 minutes to arrive. Upon ordering our last drink it took 20 minutes so we went up to the bar to pay our bill and enquire about our drink. The bar staff told us our drink had not yet been made, I explained we had been waiting for 20 minutes and now needed to leave (I had complained to the same staff member earlier about the service and having to order at the bar) she offered no apology for the poor service and said “alright” while walking away from us. I don’t think this is acceptable and it left me and my friend feeling quite disrespected, we had spent £33 each and only managed to order 4 drinks for the whole brunch. I don’t think it’s acceptable for staff to say “alright” and walk away when being politely informed of the poor service. I’m really disappointed with this level of service and the disrespect shown to paying customers.

I rocked up at about 3pm on a Friday. It was quiet and the bar staff were very friendly. I met some nice people and enjoyed the atmosphere change as the bar filled up with those stopping in for a drink after work. The staff were very polite when they asked me to relocate as the table I was sat at was reserved for people coming in to eat. Very festively decorated.

Had a lovely time. Kyle was the best server i could have hoped for. Gave great drink recommendations and great advice. Very caring and even listened to us when we were gossiping. Kyle deserves a raise! definitely coming back again, hope kyle is my server again! ?

Waited at the bar for over 15mins, no one served us so we left, we were after a cocktail tree, We took our custom elsewhere. Yes it was a busy night but this should be compensated with more team members. Only reason it's a 2 star is because we have been to other slug and lettuce bars and not had an issue.

Had a very enjoyable hour here before our 7 hour train ride home. We loved the building, an old banking hall maybe? Food was very good, fish finger bap, with tartar sauce and fries and my husband had macaroni cheese. Delicious cocktails too. The staff were very friendly and engaging and we will return next time we're in Plymouth.
