Family meal 23rd January, always a great relaxing atmosphere, great staff who cater for your every needs, when you are ready. The food was amazing, large portions, hot and with a table of six each of us would say "wow" to each others food. THE GARLIC MUSHROOMS IS AMAZING. Love it. See you again soon.

Always loved it here and never been disappointed but, it has definitely lost the wow factor. Prices are up significantly and portion sizes are down. My 14 yr old was still hungry after paying £17 for his meal. The whole menu is on the wall so you have to get up and walk over to look. Wouldn’t want to be one’s eating a meal underneath it. Yes the food still is very tasty but I won’t be rushing back.

I recommend the belly pork bites for a starter!Great service, a decent pint and good food. What more could you ask for?!Book in advance and be prepared to walk 5 minutes from the local car park - there is very little space to park on the road.Parking: Only a handful of on-road spaces near the pub but there is a council car park just up the hill. Two minute walk down but nearer 5 minute walk back after a filling meal!
