Always a nice pint served by friendly staff. Sport shown on various tv's around premises. Dog friendly, pool table, a typical county feel pub in the city centre. Lovely ??

Outdoor seating area, pool, local events such as music, DJ booth, quiz, raffles etc. Seems like a great bar, it's cheap too which makes all that much better. £3.50 a pint. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Can't comment on the food but worth a visit if you're in the area for a few

I can't comment on the food as I didn't purchase any, but I can comment on the cider. It was £3.50 a pint for a brand called orchard and it was lovely. It's definitely worth a visit as there's also an outdoor seating area.

Jenny the landlady has got to be the worst I have ever come across.She needs to remember she is just the landlady of a declining pub and not the Queen of England.Her gob and attitude compliments her sour face immensely.
